I have terrible skin - acne and scarring. I generally wear lots of makeup and buy more expensive brands. Im looking for something that is longer lasting. It's embarrassing for me to go out on yomtov or even shabbos.

You probably need to experiment with what works for your skin, specifically, but I've been happy with Estee Lauder double wear (recommended on a wedding makeup thread). My skin eats makeup, but this one actually lasts all shabbos and even stretches somewhat to the second day yomtov.
A little goes a long way with this to avoid emphasizing pores or texture.

I second Estee lauder double wear. It is super full coverage and lasts really well. I wear it every shabbos.
