In the cookbook KBD Entertains there's this recipe called chopped salad with honey mustard dressing. It's a great salad with mango, avocado etc., but I make the dressing all the time & use it for any salad. In fact, I make it so often that I know it by heart :
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup mayo (I use light mayo, which makes the consistency a little lumpy, but once you mix it into the salad, it doesn't matter)
1/4 cup oil (I use about 1/8 of a cup)
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon spicy brown mustard
(I sent my husband a salad for lunch today: romaine lettuce, craisins, almonds, & a little container of this dressing. He loves it. )

Thanks, 1st!
Two questions:
Do you use fresh or dried dill in the ranch dressing?
And do you cook the beaten egg in the Italian?
I can search, but tried and true recipes from pple living in the same country are best!!

I usually use dried dill, sometimes I use the frozen kind

it supposed to be raw-I forgot to write-I leave that part out. for the most part they taste similar to store bought ones. the italian one, I found, is the most off, because I leave out some of the ingredients.
enjoy!
