Nopes Less than 3 feet. I'm the most cautious person ever. Believe me. Not that I would make a habit of it.

It will probably be easier than teaching my teen. Hey, does your toddler give lessons?

It wouldbe absolutely neglectful not to do so.
What if he has to drive you to the hospital for the delivery of his sibling?
Should he just drive without being taught?

Never considered it before (the poor insurance payments if nothing else) but I do have some questions...
Does a toddler driving in the front seat need a car seat? Does he need a rear facing car seat - because that must require the oddest steering wheel situation ever...
How would he handle the written portion of his driving test?
My brain's still half asleep, but I'm sure I'll come up with more questions later :-)

Remind him to take his phone with him before he goes out in case he has to reach you.

Where’s the fun in that? Driving gets so monotonous without drinking. Besides I’m watching on the monitor the entire time. With a glass of wine in my hand.

I was going to say that you can teach your boys to drive but not the girls, because if you teach the girls, your grandchildren will never get into a good school. Pretzus people, pretzus!
But then I realized, not all toddlers are clear about their gender identity. What happens if you teach a child who had a Bris and you think is a boy to drive and then later identifies as a woman? What about if they are non/binary?
Best wait until they self identify before teaching anyone to drive.

Seriously. I thought that Imamother was a site for FRUM women, but I guess I was wrong.
