I didn’t find it weird at the time , but now I do. He gave me money and asked me every Friday to go to the bakery to buy challah for his family for Shabbos and he sent me to the cleaners to pick up his shirts. I guess he viewed me as his personal assistant.

In some offices this is a normal thing for employees to do. They take turns doing it.

Ok it depends what work environment you work in
If it’s an office then yeah that’s odd

If it’s a school, then you’re odd for that reaction.

When I returned to work, I needed a place to pump. The 2 options I was given were 1 coworker's office (that had a door) that is typically empty since they usually work at another site (that's what I usually used) and my boss's office.

So, sometimes I used my boss's office (since sometimes that other coworker was on site and also sometimes my boss was on vacation), and it was weird to be sitting there looking at all these smiling photos of my boss and his family as I pumped lol

(The other coworker was also male, but he didn't have photos up around that desk since he was there so rarely.)

Still better than pumping in a bathroom.

One of my bosses had an agreement with her neighbor about their electricity bill. Well the neighbor never wanted to pay and my boss wanted me to harass them. I said no.

To walk his dog. To pick up his vacuum cleaner from a repair store. Thankfully long since moved on from that job!

My current boss asked me if I’d take over a zoom weekly class she has to take once a week from 7:00 to 8:30 am.
My hours are normally 9:30 till I’m done my work. I work part time.

I thought her favour was too much of a commitment for me & I said no.
I wake at 7:30 am.

Curios to know what you imas think of this?
Was this a reasonable request?

Boss’s wife would call me to print return labels for her online returns and put it on her husbands desk to take home.
My female boss asked male employee to do a return to a heimish woman’s clothing store.

Is she asking you to take a class instead of her, as in to pretend to be her?

To take her place. She said she’s allowed to do that.
But the time in morning is what made me think it was a bit too much to expect

Whether it was a reasonable request or not is irrelevant. If the timing is outside of your contracted hours then you are under no obligation to accept this responsibility

Its a school but I'm not the only secretary there. Whats the use in taking the course if I don't feel eligible

It might really help you to take a CPR course, especially if you feel intimidated by it all. It could help you feel less powerless if you’re ever in a situation where it could help.

I became a nurse partly because I was once in a situation of a medical emergency of a family member and I felt completely helpless, thankfully Hatzalah got there fast and it was okay, but I was so shaken that I was determined to never feel that helpless again.
