Never had allergy testing done. Can it be done by a primary doctor? What is more reliable - blood test or skin test. Do you get results right away? Do they test for everything?

You have to go to an allergist- dont know where you are located but officially a skin test is more reliable

Definitely an allergist. A general practitioner wouldn't even know where to start.
Skin tests are by far the best. It's not painful, it more annoying. Lots of tiny little pokes, over and over again. More like scratches, really.
If you can handle getting a flu shot, this will be a breeze.
Once you find out your triggers, you'll feel SO much better!
