And just to add- I hope my child has teachers like you!

Aww.. Thank you. I'm sure your daughter is picking up on your positive attitude and will inspire her teachers too!

My child has 6 toes on one foot. The doctor said we should only remove it if it becomes a problem. So far no problem at all, only he needs wide shoes. We actually forgot to discuss it at the last appointment, that's how irrelevant it is.

I remember a girl once wrote a story in the teen pages (I think later there was also an article in Mishpacha lifelines from the parent's perspective?) about her missing fingers in such a positive, humorous and fun way. I give lots of credit to her parents for obviously instilling that awesome confidence in her and celebrating her for the wonderful person she is.

Stateblue, your posts reminded me of that awesome article.

Do you remember points the girl wrote and her parents? Did the girl write of a specific challenge she has with her hands disability?

Does your child have Poland Syndrome? If yes, can you please pm me.

This actor has Poland Syndrome, and he has an extremely successful career. https://cdnmetv.metv.com/PQW6T.....d.jpg

His limb difference was never mentioned in the TV series, but he is an outspoken advocate in real life.
