I would love to install a swing and/or some sort of monkey bars in my basement. I have a finished basement, but there is a drop ceiling, which makes it easier to access a beam in the ceiling. However, I just realized that Maybe I can make use of the 4 beams I have in the middle of the room. (Think hammock.)
So I started off this search looking for a sensory swing to drill into a beam. (They look like so much fun! Think this:

And have since been looking at something like this :

Problem is that my beams are not that far from each other and most of these 'ninja monkey bar things' are at least 40 feet long.
Anyone have ideas? Suggestions? Experience with similar equipment?
Thanks!

What is the aim of the swing? Is it for sensory, just for relaxing? You need to think about what you want from it.
There is a company gorilla gym which make a swing which attaches to the doorway of the room.
Your best bet is probably to look at special needs websites which specialize in all kinds of swings. Easiest would be to securely attach ropes into/onto the beams and then suspend what you want from them. Many swings are designed to clip onto a frame.
