I need to buy a laptop and don’t know much about computers. What do you recommend I buy? Where’s the best place to buy it? Thanx! What else should I be asking?

There are two main categories of laptops.
One is Windows. Most regular desktop computers have a Windows system.
The other is Mac. This is the operating system of an Apple smartphone, tweaked a bit for a computer.

If you have no preference for one system over the other, I would recommend Windows. These are more common, cheaper, and easier to learn how to navigate.

I've posted a link with a Dell laptop which might serve you well. The price is reasonable, the company is reliable, and the laptop should be able to function for entertainment, internet browsing, youtube, Microsoft office suite, QuickBooks, etc. If you need a computer for graphic design you might want a better one.

If you're set on a Mac, I'd recommend looking into the Macbook Air series on the Apple website.
