Looking to feel a connection to a girl name.
Boys names I have plenty of those. BH having a baby girl this summer and not sure what name I even like.

You will find beauty in a name that is meaningful to YOU. It's so subjective.
I named my baby a very uncommon name in a language other than Hebrew or Yiddish. But I LOVE IT because it was my grandmother's name and she was so special.
Hadassah is a beautiful name. Is there a reason why you like it?

We never thought of ideas until our kids were born. I mean we may have thrown around a name here and there but we really felt that once the baby was born we had a lot more clarity. And that's when we even knew if it was going to be a boy or a girl. So I wouldn't stress about it too much I really feel that Hashem gives you more clarity after the baby is born.

Why don't you look online (or in books) for lists of Hebrew baby names and see if anything grabs you?
Like this (this one is actually pretty short, as it contains more mainstream names):
https://www.aish.com/jl/l/b/48966261.html
Do you have any relatives after whom you'd like to name a daughter?
Or women from the Tanach who inspired you?
Hadassah is lovely, BTW.

If you tell us more about what you are looking for or other names you like, it might help us come up with suggestions.

Bshaa tova! There are many, many names I love, but whenever I was expecting, there was only ever one right name for each baby. If it wasn’t THAT baby’s name, I suddenly found the name unappealing or foreign-sounding. Maybe it was some form of maternal ruach hakodesh. All I know is that 2 out of 3 of our kids have names that were never on any of my “favorite names” lists, and yet their names clearly surpassed many lists’ worth of names in favoriteness. (It’s 4:30am, my normal vocabulary is sleeping. 😂)
The right name will come. 💕

shemli.co.il is an amazing and comprehensive list of names. I think there's an English version of the website, but I can't seem to find it.

I’ve looked online at several sites. Nothing really sounds beautiful to me.
Hadassah I just like the way it sounds.
There is no one at the moment that I would name after and I don’t like the common names in my husbands family.
I guess there just isn’t a name for now... maybe when I meet her.
