chili-n-cholent, those dresses are gorgeous! The second dress and the last dress are the most typical for a vort.

Whatever you get think about Sheva brachos season also.
Many Kallah rewear their vort dress to Shabbos Sheva brachos.
I like either white or a color vs black bec it helps a kallah stand out in the crowd.

The neckline is very low. It will look awful with a shell. Besides for the fact that the workmanship is probably not great as it's a $25 lace dress.

I agree that the second dress is beautiful for a summer vort, especially oot, where I'm assuming Op lives, exactly perfect level of elegance, and very in style. In Lakewood, I agree that all kallah seem to be wearing white, completely lace dresses. Even winter kallahs, I see wearing lace in winter white with black tights and heels (don't love the black tights with white dresses, but that's what is worn.). For summer, she should wear nude tights (obviously) with nude heels. And mazel tov!

I don’t know what Lakewood you live in, but my Lakewood is wearing mostly pink and taupe colored.

(Accidentally posted this on the spinoff thread did not realize there were 2 separate threads)
Spending more on a vort dress makes more sense to me than what people spend on a wedding dress. You can go to a Gemach for a wedding gown or even borrow. A few hundred for a vort dress is not crazy. The Kallah feels special and confident and almost always wears vort dress to her Shabbos Sheva Brachos and to all her friends weddings soon after. Whereas a wedding gown is only worn once. Most Kallahs I have seen lately wore long white dresses or floral but either to the floor or ankle maxi dress I guess. Something with sleeves is more in style (sometimes sleeves need to be lined) a jumper with a shell is not so in right now. Either Long floral or long while lace something very girlie/Victorian/Vintage is what’s in. Taupes and blushes too but mostly white or Ivory.

OT but personally I think wearing a fancy white dress (Even if it’s not a gown) to someone else’s wedding Is in poor taste. The bride should be the only one in white IMO
