Is it possible that my child who was throat clearing, picking wedgie that wasn’t there, blinking (3 dif tics at 3 dif times, some overlapping)
And he doesn’t do it anymore. Can he still have pandas?
Pls only post if you’re knowledgeable.
Thanks

Does he have other atypical behaviors? How long have the tics been gone? It’s common for pandas symptoms to come and go, and also to keep changing. I would keep a close eye on it if there are no other symptoms, because if it is the start of pandas, you want to catch it before it gets worse. Someone I know had an eye blinking tic that came and went for 2 years, the mildest mildest ocd, then she got strep Again and bam, explosion of symptoms. Not saying this will be you, but keep an eye.

I had tics, but I definitely think it was stress related.
I had an abusive childhood.
It came and go, and, rarely, still does.
Especially when I am lacking sleep and out of sorts.
(I am familiar with pandas and don't think that was it)

Are tics always pandas? Aren't there other causes for tics also?
