It's a lace ribbon front, folded over to be durable, but it won't lie flat.
It's leaving a slight dark shadow which frustrates me to no end.
What can I do about that?
Thanks all. 
And if you have any opinions regarding whether lace fronts should be worn - please share elsewhere.

If it stands away from your head, the wig might be a bit big on you and will need to be taken in at the sides.

Thanks - it happened only when I folded over the lace..
Could it be from pulling the front once or twice (by mistake)?
I try to be quite careful though..

Probably not. Lost some of the rounded shape when it was folded and now needs to be pinched to repair it...
