My kids kept getting ear infections as infants. Turns out they had food allergies. They were not on solids yet and fully nursing. But I was eating the foods they couldn't have. Once I put myself on a diet (after testing them), their ear infections subsided.

I know you were not asking for this, but I just want to say that if your pediatrician feels the baby needs antibiotics, please do not hold off on giving antibiotics.
I know somebody personally whose child needed antibiotics for an ear infection. She decided to do garlic drops and other natural remedies instead. Unfortunately, the child ended up developing osteomyelitis, an infection of the bones inside/behind the ear. She then quickly became septic (blood stream infection). She then spent several weeks in the ICU at the #1 children's hospital in the state (to where she had to be airlifted emergently after the community hospital was unable to stabilize her). Bchasdei Hashem she survived without major damage, but they were on the cusp of losing her. I think now just minor hearing loss in the one ear that they're not sure will be permanent.
Anyway, iyH your child should be healthy and well. Hopefully some of the above suggestions will help you to prevent that your infections, but if your child needs antibiotics please do not hold them back from her.

My doctor gave us an option to hold off from giving antibiotics for now since the last antibiotics didnt seem to help.

I took them to an allergist. Sometimes she did a skin prick test and other times she sent us for blood work to test.

I had this with 2 of my kids. Told to use 'preventative' antibiotics for 4months. I took them to a guy who uses drops.to clear up current infection (in yerushalayim, happy to pass on details) and he said keep them off dairy, peanuts and bananas. But like, totally off them. Until around 5 when the ear tubes start to change shape. TG stuck to that and from that day on never had another infection (after 2 yrs of many, many, many)

I know this is from months ago. But were you referring to giving this orally?
