You could also do a bun with a facinator clip. A foam piece for the bun might help. Two curls by the sides of her face add elegance if she won’t get annoyed by them.

my toddler has real thin short hair. I gel it up to a ballerina bun, and then after a few hours when I take off the pony holder (before I bathe her) it looks adorable as the bun crimps the hair and the gel still holds it in shape and it looks like an updo. was just looking last night that I can take her to a wedding like that. wish I had a pic....
