I tried googled but can’t find anything easy to understand. I get insurance through my job but for my whole family it’s awful and very expensive. My husband just got a new job where he doesn’t get insurance. Is he eligible to get Medicaid for himself and the kids while I stay on my insurance as a single person?
I know you can only qualify if your job doesn’t give you insurance but idk if spousal insurance counts.

I’m pretty sure yes because I know someone who got insurance through her work but because she met the income requirements her kids were on Medicaid (not sure about her husband but I don’t see why that would be any different)

Yes but the income limits for an adult are quite low so he may not qualify. The kids can almost definitely get.

It depends on your income. So realistically the two of your incomes together probably won’t qualify .
The kids have a higher bracket
