There is a large MO community in New Rochelle which is where many families go when they outgrow Riverdale.

I agree that new Rochelle is a lovely community, but it’s out of my price range.

Mid Chester Jewish center has a great rabbi and wife but members are older
Newrochelle just built a school that’s cheaper than wds
We have a huge supermarket
On north ave in newrochelle they have pizza and Chinese
Anshe shalom has a great rabbi

There are different parts of Mt. Vernon—fleetwood is technically in Mt. Vernon and has a housing incentive program. It is also on the Metro North line which is great for commuting into Manhattan.

Also, Bronxville has ridiculously high property taxes and almost no Jewish families due to historic housing laws (forget about it frum!). I think the chabad primarily serves Sarah Lawrence college though I’m sure they welcome everyone.
