Sauté onions. Add cabbage, salt, pepper and a bit of sugar. Cool until soft.
Serve with bow tie noodles.

Unstuffed stuffed cabbage!

Layered Cabbage and Chopped Meat
3 lbs chopped meat
1 grated onion
2 eggs
Spread on bottom of 10x 17 pan

Put bag of shredded cabbage on top

Mix 3 – 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 cup brown sugar
4 t. lemon juice
Pour over cabbage
Bake 3 hours on 350

Freezes amazing!
