If they weren't high risk - no.

Don't even think they died from Covid - think they died with Covid.
As far as I know, no HEALTHY child has died of Covid.
But a few hundred children die every year from the regular vaccines.
And the Covid Vaccine has more deaths and injuries then ALL the regular vaccines for 30 YEARS! |
You are wrong.. perfectly healthy children have died, they had no underlying disease.

I am vaccinated, my teens are vaccinated, all willingly. I plan to get my younger child vaccinated once eligible. My pediatrician agrees. A mandate wouldn't be relevant (and is unlikely in my location for this age group).

Now that my kids have all had Covid, I would need a justification for why it is like the flu vaccine vs. chicken pox. Will this be a yearly thing or just a once+booster type of vaccine?

Very few "perfectly healthy" children died from covid. And so many children had covid and had no symptoms.

Four Nordic countries have stopped giving moderna to under 30 or 18.
Pfizer and moderna are very similar.
I would be very concerned.

I would never homeschool!!!!!! Yes, I would give the vaccine if it becomes mandated by schools. I hope it doesn't.

I didn't give a number. BB said none. That is false. There was more than NONE!

Some children died of Covid. Some of them were obese or born prematurely with the infection. Maybe a small percentage were full term and healthy. I don't think that it's zero but I don't consider the average child to be at risk. I also don't think that the number of American children killed every year by vaccines is in the hundreds but it does kill some children.

Or Texas. |
At this point, frum people are probably better off in red states but there isn't as much government help, apparently. There are also certain challenges such as a car being a necessity here. Houses are cheaper but basements don't exist so the house and yard may be smaller than in other communities.

I saw that. I'm wondering if that's because there's an issue with Moderna, or because Moderna offers better protection to the elderly, so they want to save their Moderna doses for the elderly.
Moderna can't be given under age 18, anyways. It's not approved for that age group.

Is "more than zero" good enough for you? If 1 out of a million kids die of covid, would you still vaccinate them? Do you let your kids in cars or go to the playground?

Yes, and Iceland suspended Moderna for everyone.

I believe they cited the high rates of myocarditis and pericarditis in that age group.
