Wahl (on Amazon)
The one we got is white with colorful combs. Had served us well for 5+ years.

Oster is the best. I tried many other ones. More pricey but cuts better and last longer.
(I have a bunch of boys and give haircuts professionally!)

I like my Wahl professional (5 star senior) I've tried the Oster and it was too heavy for me. I also give haircuts professionally and I've used it for my husband and brothers with no issues (no boys that need haircuts yet)

I love the shartek from DB electronics. I had the oster for 12 years. I shave, so I've used it quite a bit. I also use for my DH, and he does my boys.
I find the shartek easier to control since it's thinner and much lighter, and it's also cordless. Needs to be charged like every few months!

Another vote for shartech.
Whoever borrows it loves it.
A barber recommended it.

Big plus it can be used while charging as well.
Super smooth

My husband cuts my four sons' hair, and I feel bad that he works so hard with the $50-range machines. Anyone know if spending on the better Oster / Shartech / Wahl in the $150 range would make the job quicker and easier? (For the amount he saves us on the haircuts, I think he deserves it if it does...)
