When others are home I close the door, but don't lock it, as others said, for safety reasons. When I'm alone (I don't shower when alone. I may bathe though) at home and go to the bathroom, I just leave the door wide open. What do I care??

interesting I always have my phone w me in the shower, not necessarily for safety precaution, just natural instinct. say I'm young generation? I guess... 🤷♀️

And I also take my phone into the bathroom with me when I shower even though I don't lock the door, just in case I need to get assistance for some reason.

I have a relative who had someone break into her home at night while everyone was sleeping. I would never leave a door unlocked what if someone unexpectedly comes in?

When I had babies I always heard them crying while in the shower and rushed out to find them fast asleep 99% of the time.
