I opened a DCA account through my workplace figuring that I'd be paying my children's daycare monthly. However, due to covid the daycares got extra grants which means that the parents don't pay anything for daycare right now.
I'm left with a nice amount of funds sitting in my DCA but nothing to claim it against. Is there any way to back out or get back the $? I live in Lkwd if that matters.
Thanks in advance!

You have to check with your employer. Generally, the answer would be no, but because of COVID, legally, they're allowed to let you carry over the money to next year. Still, each employer administers differently.

You may be able to roll it over.

Find out if it rolls over to next year. Do you have older kids in school you can use it on? What about summer camp? Could you pay daycare this year to have it in your account for next year?
