Hi,
Does anyone know how to get an appointment for same day passport service in the NYC location. This is for if you have a travel date within two weeks. Is there a method anyone knows of in order to actually get an appointment? I’ve called multiple times and they keep saying there’s no appointments. Just wondering how people are getting appointments.

You need to go to Connecticut. It is 40 minutes away.
Call (877) 487-2778 and ask for an appt at 850 Canal Street
Stamford, CT 06902.
10:00 appts are the best. They start issuing new passports at 11:00

Your best bet is to hire a passport expediter, and bite the bullet at the sticker shock.

I've also heard Connecticut is best for this. OP mentions a ticket date. I've heard you need that for same day.

Connecticut may be hard to get an appointment nowdays. My sister's went to the office upstate in Chester NY & got a passport on the spot.

I did it in Manhattan. I called within two weeks of travel. Waited 20 mins on hold, got an appointment time within three days of travel and got a passport. Super easy.
