Been covering almost 10 years. Get it hilighted every so often. I keep it blown out always (only wash it 1-2 times a week) my hair is really beautiful. Thick, flowing and nicer than any wig I own. I always keep it covered. Do it for myself and dh |
My hair is also still beautiful. Maybe a little darker than before, but I’m over 45, not gray, and not thinning. My hair looks awesome straight out of a shaitel. I always say I still get schar for covering it after over 25 years because I’d still rather go out with my natural hair.

My hair is also thicker and nicer than before, most likely because I no longer cut it in many layers and angles and don’t use any dry heat to straighten it! I always say that singles are lucky about how kind the trendy hairstyles are today to natural hair as opposed to 8-10 years ago!

How would you know that it's not a result of aging? Also married women tend not to do maintenance on their hair as singles do.

Before I got married I had thin hair. All I did was brush it most days and wore it in a pony. Married two years and it’s darker thinner drier. I’m in my low twenties
Amother because of identifying info

I'm married 20 years. My hair is darker and a little dryer but just as thick. Also BH no grey hairs yet! I don't wear shaitels often. I usually cover with a tichel.
I think covering with a shaitel does more damage than a tichel.

I lost all the gorgeous highlights I had when I was single but other than that my hair is the same.

I'm covering mine for more than 20 years, and it's still brown, wavy, and shiny.
