Rebbetzin Ausband, founder and longtime dean of Yavne Seminary, was nifteres on May 10th. I wanted to share two profound and thought-provoking articles I read about her derech and impact on her thousands of talmidos (I am fortunate to be one of them). I wish I had been zoche to learn with/from her when she was in her prime (I came to Yavne 9 years ago, when things were different already - she was older, her husband zt"l was very ill and nifter that year) - but she had such bren, such passion and ahavas haTorah. I can only imagine how much more potent her personality and energy and limudim were when she was younger.

I know this is an old thread, but I only came across the Tablet obituary yesterday and it was so powerful. I've reread it like six times already. What a fascinating and inspiring woman.
