Someone very close to me is having surgery (mastectomy) in two days. It's just the beginning of what will be a very difficult time for her. I'd love it if you could keep her in your thoughts, even during this very busy week.
(her name is Rachel Esther bas Toba)

Mastectomy postponed, and not for a good reason -- possible liver metastasis that needs to be investigated first. If anybody has a moment to think of her and send good thoughts her way, I know she'd appreciate it.

Preliminary results say the liver is likely unaffected, so the mastectomy is scheduled for tomorrow.
If you could take a moment to send a good thought, that would be great.
