yeah that's true but I sort of pictured him being inundated by imamothers mail and maybe that would get him to stop.
sighing gets us nowhere.

People have been selling Catholic relics for years:

Weird what some people consider "collectibles." Sold online like Elvis plates and Depression glass.

I didn't mean that we should care. I just meant that these kinds of questionable sales of religious articles are so widespread. I am shocked that people would purchase such things -- why would anyone want some sacred religious article on display like a vase?

what do you think musuems are filled with?! But this isn't history to us; this is kedusha. I think there are enough peoople on this site that should be able to make a full-scale protest to stop him.

im sitting here trying to understand the posters, but honestly I cant
people collect old sefarim and parts of sefarim .
it doesnt mean that cv the dapim arent treated with respect etc.............
the trade and sale of this sort of antique sefarim is quite common.
the only concern that I can think of,, is who is collecting them on the other end....
IF youre selling something in person, and you see a non frum person wanting to buy, one can jack up the price rediculously so they wont buy..
but here the man selling has no idea who is buying on the other end,, and if that person will handle the dapim with the proper kavod
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
maybe we should tell the guy that.... or ask him for his ravs name.... wonder if that rav understood there would be no quality control in that regard
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
YEAH I got a problem with this after all!!!!

yes, I have a problem with this being done online to all sorts of buyers.
His answer was:
I can tell you that I had asked the Dayen of my community and he gave the the ok with terms and conditions under which circumstances I must apply to.
I asked if he would be willing to tell me the name of the dayan (out of curiosity) - he didn't answer (yet).
