About $500 as well.
Will dropping the thermostat by 1 degree make a big difference in the bill?
(We keep it on 69 through the day and night and it’s just right. Sometimes in the morning or evening I need to put a sweater on if I’m not extremely active)

Wearing a sweater in the winter is normal attire unless you want to spend lots to heat the home.
69 at night when people are sleeping is relatively high.
It really depends on whether you want to conserve. If so you make adjustments like wearing cozy clothing at home and using warm quilts at night. Also people actually use stuff like snuggies and throws if they are sitting in the couch.

$500 is normal for winter. With budget billing I pay $400. Call them up to sign up for this program. you wont save money because if you pay less than you used, they will add the extra to next years budget
