With the understanding that there is underlying anxiety, how can I help my child?
What has worked for you?

Treating pandas/strep/the underlying anxiety is the only thing that helped. But some people find ERP therapy very effective.

Non-directed free play with you if your relationship with child is good overall.
If you know the source of the anxiety - it works quicker than if you don't.

Avoid correcting your child too much, or making suggestions about what they should do. Some kids are too self concious and will try to be perfect all the time.
