that solves the actual oven part. But what about the place that toasts the bread. Its a separate piece and dont know if it can be removed

If you want to break it or burn down your kitchen, yes.

Ask your rabbi. I have this toaster and my rabbi said - “if it’s for bread only and will be ruined if toveled then you do not need to tovel it”

They didn't break and it didn't burn the house down. Been using it for years. But I guess this isn't the same thing.

Can someone explain to me the reason to dunk a toaster oven rather than just the racks and trays? I mean, nobody takes their full size wall ovens or ranges. What's the difference other than size?

My husband did this with our new toaster oven. He said “don’t use it for a couple days”
We didn’t touch it for like a week maybe almost 2 weeks. But it works. However I did tell my husband that only the racks and whatever else that comes with it should be dunked only not the entire oven… according to the Rav we use

It sounds like this particular oven has a piece that food is used directly on that cannot be removed

As far as I know everyone holds that only things that actually touch food need to be toiveled
