I think I've noticed a pattern. Whenever I give my child melatonin she wakes up jittery the next morning. I give a teeny tiny piece though!
Does that make any sense?

It’s possible but it’s also possible that the reason she needs melatonin the night before is also due reason she is jittery in the morning.

Following..

I am going to monitor this on mine too...

Never notice, I dont give it every night. But she does wake up all over the place sometimes , never noticed a pattern. Gonna keep an eye out.

How old is your child?
Also how many mg?

I have 1mg chewables maxi health and usually give about a 1/3, maybe bit more.

I gave it to her because she's been going to sleep much later now when she had off school. Wanted her to fall asleep earlier.

Some people don't metabolize melatonin well and it causes agitation for them. It's a real thing.
