Where in no or in Israel can I rent or purchase? One store asked me for $150!!!

Do you have family or friends here? It's very cheap to add another line to a plan and cancel after a month. Just around 20 shekel.

Israeli imas please comment : is it Machsan Hasloler? I got a great deal there on a 30 day sim card, with calls, texts and tons of data- I think it was 90 shekels! The sim card was "Partner".

A short term plan is going to be expensive. No agent would knowingly give you a long term plan if you are planning to cancel after a month because then they don’t get a commission. That being said you can just call HOT or Golan or Orange and order a sim card and then cancel when your done.
If you want a company who speaks English you will pay higher prices.
Cellular Israel gives long term Regular prices but for 3 months or longer.
