I bought a navy (bluer than navy) shabbos dress for the upcoming season of simchas and YT

In the winter, do I wear it with black tights and shoes?

I know my mother would wear navy tights and Navy shoes, but I don't see that nowadays... What would you do?

(Truthfully I don't even own navy shoes.)

(Nude with black shoes won't work in November+)

If it's royal blue and not quite all the way navy it looks great with black and black.
