Where do you buy genuine Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner bags, online or in NYC?
Repair person says the cheap imitation bags kill the machine.
These are the ones he used to sell that he said are genuine Electrolux, but he put his sticker over a bag that says DVC brand, and theyre no longer in business.
Which bags does your Electrolux repair person say is the best?

Without insulting the vacuum repair guy, I'd like to know how generic bags that fit "ruin the machine." I don't buy that at all! I have a 25 year old Electrolux vacuum and that has NEVER been an issue. My very honest competent repair guy sells the generic ones himself and I have never had a problem. I generally don't buy the bags from him though. I get them online for cheaper, but generic is what he has. It is very possible that they don't even make Electrolux brand bags anymore. The company had some issues a bunch of years ago and is not the same company anymore. (I don't remember all the details.) No disrespect, but a bag is a bag and I don't believe using generic bags are a problem. I would take that advice with a grain of salt.

Where do you get bags reasonably?
