Same here. No interviews anywhere.
My first choice schools I had no connections to call for me so those were just high hopes I guess. But I didn’t get an interview for two I had phone calls made…. I am so anxious I haven’t been able to sleep.

What time was it supposed to be? So frustrating to have it pushed off. People who interviewed this week were already accepted?! Are they interviewing next week?

Not sure about acceptance, but I saw a number of interviews coming when dropping off my kids at ohr yehuda this week and last.

Just a quick note.. When you have an interview - they let you know right away if your accepted.
They don't drag it in.
If you don't hear from them your not usually accepted.
And if you don't have an interview by now.. Slim chance your still getting one.
Don't be fooled by this system. It's the same every year.
Time to get your contacts out.. (actually it's also late for that already.. But that's your next best bet of hishtadlus if you want to do more. )
And to the imamother who says she can't sleep at night.. Please work on your emunah. Your children will attend the school hashem set out for them to attend. Don't lose precious sleep from it.

In some schools that's the case, but not in all.
I heard from many ppl that Ohr Yehuda didn't send out letters either way yet.
I heard they are usually slower than other schools, with the whole interviewing and accepting process.
Also, we called, and asked them to tell us the answer either way, and they said they are still interviewing ppl, and are undecided.

AFAIK, Nesivos Hatorah is slightly more yeshivish and also is a somewhat fancier crowd.

We also had our interview at Ohr Yehuda almost 2 weeks ago.
We called, we had ppl call for us, and they say they are still undecided.

She was told they didn’t decide yet on anyone. They are moving slower

was waiting for a response from ohr yehuda. gave up. can't deal with the anxiety. got accepted to another school and took the slot, Even though Ohr yehuda was my first choice.

Last year Ohr Yehuda was “still deciding “ with us for about a month. We had many people cal and even visit the school. Still deciding.

I gusss a year and change later they’re still thinking about it. We never got an answer . Maybe 30 calls.

Bh my son is somewhere else and we’re thrilled

I think they wait until ppl eventually go to other schools, so they can give less no's.
It's a tactic I heard some schools do.
