I find the idea of TAG to be so much more intrusive and risky than signing up online for a widely used basic filter.

Per tag filer guy: Team viewer is used but you need to give a code each time, it is not accessed without your permission.

So what does this Really mean?
Let's say for example I need to call them up and ask them to open/give me access to a certain link. Does this mean the agent I'm speaking to can now freely scroll through my account and see what I've been doing?

With team viewer, once you're logged off, you can't access.
So on the phone with then you give access to do their quick adding it or whatever (I haven't actually used this tag service to know for sure) and you'd know if they're poking around be just opening one thing.
So many TAG professionals are doing holy work l'shma and have no nefarious intentions.
In full disclosure, just 2 weeks ago I got a half hearted offer to join TAG volunteers though they knew I would turn it down. I did due to lack of time but if I had said yes it wouldn't be because I have any interest in seeing what's on anyone's computer. I don't have the time or care at all.

We arent concerned about people like you.
We are concerned about the minority of wackjobs like Mr S who got this whole topic started in the first place.
The fact that there is no way for us to know who is good, like you, and who is not, like him.
We are very very concerned about people like him accessing our phones.

what in the world are you all talking about? they put a filter on your phone and it blocks sites/takes out the internet options etc. It doesn't make all your images and conversations get uploaded to their database or give them access to your future pics and conversations. Perhaps while they are actually reconfiguring your phone they could potentially snoop, but you can be standing right next to them watching what they are doing if you are worried about that. What made you think they have access to your phone after that??

Obviously if you give access to your phone to someone they can see what you're doing.

If you use the web browser Brave, that blocks all ads. What else would you like to filter out?
