My son is in a relatively new high school. A group of mothers are interested in setting up a program to encourage extra learning with incentives, but without a huge budget. Learning would be done during the week, in the later evenings, after yeshiva is over for the day.
Some of the considerations are:
- how to structure the incentives (raffles/special activities/food & drink each evening/frequency of the incentives)
- how to handle location (centralized a single local shul or allow boys to choose where they want to learn)
- how to format the learning (the boys all learn the same thing, or allow each boy to choose what he is interested in learning)
- how to measure participation (need to participate every session for the entire session or more flexible)
Looking for any and all ideas of how to structure this.
Thank you!
