Hi, reaching out in hope someone can share some of their trade secrets to stunning, even 6 strand challos.

Every time I bake challah, I spend an hour braiding and they look like lopsided and sad...

You can weigh each part to make sure they're equal.

After rolling, lay then for 20 seconds and roll again, so they're more elastic.

After braiding, tuck each end when putting in oval pan. Leave to rise in the pan, it should even out.

Good luck!

Instead of rolling out each strand to be perfectly even, leave the middle to be more plump. This will make the challah have a nice shape instead of being flat and long.
