People spent upwards of $20,000 for their families fo this Chanukah program. Will guests get some kind of refund?

A burst pipe in a New Jersey hotel led to hundreds of participants in a Chanukah program forced to stand outside in frigid temperatures and abruptly having to cut short their weekend.
Eight hundred people were enjoying the weekend at the Hilton in Woodcliff Lake organized by the Tomchei Shabbos of Pelham Parkway when, just as Shabbs was ending, a pipe burst, possibly due to the freezing temperatures.
As water began shooting down in several floors of guest rooms, pieces of the ceiling began collapsing as well, and panicked guests, fearing the building was collapsing, called Hatzalah.

Terrible
Why are you worried about refunds? Did you pay?

They probably need to wait until the hotel is refunded by insurance.
