What school is starting in Hollywood??? I know the West Hollywood is collecting for a mikvah but haven't heard any word about a school (and I'm usually very in the know about the school scene in South Florida).

Hollywood is a HUGE community, 600-800 families. Young Israel is the main shul and there are smaller shuls in the area, including chabad. It's very much a live and let live community, you'll find most people fall into the modern orthodox range with a very very small yeshivish community. But like, really small. It's mostly modern orthodox.

Is Bais Mordechai a chabad shul?
Are the people moving in more yeshivish than the regular Hollywood crowd?

They are not Chabad. Yeshivish I think around bais mordechai. East is a mix of chabad, MO, sephardim
