First, I want to say, why are Inquiries and Household Management both not allowing anonymous posting? Then if I post this I can't talk about it in real life! Hence I'm here...
Well, to make a long story short, I used to have a couple of these, and they were perfect for tea sense because the top stays closed until you pour. It was really made for sugar but I loved it.
Now leideh, leideh, I put my cold tea sense in a plastic deli-type container which has to be laboriously opened each time I use it, and my hot tea sense in a glass measuring cup with foil on top, both of which are very imperfect solutions. I use my cold tea sense all week, so it's taking quite an emotional toll.
I've been looking for a little ceramic teapot, although the spout will be open but I suppose can have a little piece of foil. I'm not sure if I should trust ebay when they say something is new, and regular stores are pretty expensive.
Anyone have some good ideas for me?

A mason jar, or any glass jar with a lid. You can even wash out a used jam jar.
Amazing Savings has lots of glass thingies with lids.

Yes, thank you! Not sure why I wasn't finding those.

Search for tea "essence," not "sense."
That might explain why you were having trouble finding what you need.
