I'm trying to find info on Camp Lehava... Specifically hashkafa, types of families/girls... Has anyone sent a daughter there who could share more info? Is it yeshivish? OOT? Jappy? Beis Yaakov?

It's a solid Bais Yaakov camp. Small fun warm. Campy with lots of camp spirit.
It has a Kensington feel, I guess the most out of town feel a Brooklyner can get.

My daughter was there this past summer and can’t wait to go back this summer.
She was one of the few “out of town” kids.
Most of the girls go to BY Boro Park, the rest of from Lakewood/Jackson.
Most of the girls wore tights, some wore knee socks. There were chassidosh girls and yeshivish and a few more out of town yeshivish types…
I’d be happy to answer any questions.

What does JPF stand for??
Also, when you say it's not yeshivish, in what way?
@brbs Can you tell me a bit more about what the girls are allowed/not allowed in terms of dress, phones/tech, etc.?
Just to give a little more info, we live in Israel and my daughter heard about this camp and wants to go there... I can't figure out if she would mesh well there, etc. We're chareidi...
TYSM everyone!!

Knee socks and skirts below knees are requires. Leggings are allowed and are often used for sports. Phones are not allowed at all. I think MP3 players were allowed as long as they only had jewish music. It is a very sporty camp. They do a ton of sports and not a whole lot of much else. Not a good fit it you are looking for an arts camp, but if your daughter is into sports like mine she'll fit right in.
