I'm having my siblings in law over for dinner for the first time, and looking to present nice dinner. Can I have suggestions on (preferably easy no patchke) menus to make? No brisket in any way shape or form.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's a sibling inlaw??? Like an actual sibling and their spouse?

Yes. Or your husband's sibling and spouse.

Salmon and baby potatoes with green beans. I like to do a side of salmon with a breadcrumbs topping which looks nice but is really simple. You just mix a bit of oil, mustard and spices together and smear on top then coat with breadcrumbs.
I find a side of salmon goes further with a few people than individual fillets, also it looks nicer on the table.
