Why can I do the same dance, when circle moves towards the left, but not when circle moves towards the right? Why can't my brain convert the steps?

That's completely normal. Many people have that same issue. Probably has to do with being right legged or left legged.

I can't dance for the life of me. When my oldest sibling got married, me and 2 of my sisters took wedding dance lessons. One dance they kept turning a certain direction and clumsy me, kept turning the opposite direction. Until one of my sisters hit me on the shoulder of which direction to go because I was making her crazy. Well, the rest of the night I turned the correct way because she hit me so hard, it hurt.

Same reason y u cant pat tap ur head while turning your legs (is that the way it goes???)  Something bout the brain sending messages....
