Eta it was Malchuscha and the high part was veyeida kol pa'ul |
I love her lueli hemanti. Part donor was once covered but no one compares to her singing it. Also shalom aleichem.

Judea
For trivia buffs - the songs were composed by Yerachmiel Begun |
Ooh that makes sense.
I only ever heard this song on the Miami experience (we had the VHS), with Gershon Veroba. When he said "all of us" he pointed to the audience.. I still have such vivid memories.

Uncle moishy is much more simplistic, both tune wise and lyrics. I never liked it as much, but good for the little ones. I like rebbe Alter!
I would put the marvelous middos machine up there with 613 and Kunda. Abie rottenberg also produced the Golden Crown which was a great album.
I also liked the last MMM, even though it came out just recently.
The songs are fantastic. I love the Patience son and the chessed song.
You gotta have paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatience
Oh you gotta have paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatience!
With a little bit of patience
Life will half its irritations(?)
So why not have a little bit
Yes why not have a little bit
Just why not have a little bit of (long breath)
Patience |
I'm 99% sure they do still sell 613. In fact they've been coming out with companion books.
MMM is definitely up there at the very top of my et al lol. Absolute classic.

Yes I was also going to say that song was from Miami with slightly different lyrics I think. Never heard of Judea. So it makes sense that they're the same person.

On the topic of kids tapes, I want to give a shoutout to another composer and producer of kids tapes who is contemporary and I think not so well known.
His name is rabbi Mordechai Dubin, and he is somewhere in the Midwest (maybe denver?).
He has at least 3 CDs, and they are full of songs on the parsha. But my favorite song- and the one song that I think is quite famous- is his song " I Believe". This song is incredible. It goes through all of the Ani Maamins.
Eta. I just found this online. If you haven't heard it, take a listen!

You know what? Yes!
I remember when the malchuscha search was going on, I found the tape online. And tou were able to listen to all of her songs.
Let me see of I can find it again
Eta. OK, I got it.
Search the thread Does anyone have tape/cd Rochel Miller- A Taste of Music 5?
I am the second poster.
If I recall correctly, there's a site called Dartmouth and you need to be approved. Once you are approved you can hear all of her songs.

All of us
Have seen his Hands at times
Our hearts feel
the truth between the lines(?)
Yet there are those who deny it
They say it's a lieeeeee
With no help , no outside help from above
The hand of Hashem
Yes it was shown to us
The hand of Hashem
How could it be missed by them?
Yet there they are (pointing to the audience)
Standing so far apart
And thinking so small
Compared to the signs that fall |
I posted from Judea a couple of pages back... No one got that one yet.

Now if you can explain the story behind the song "Fourteenth Avenue" I'd be eternally grateful...

Detroiter here: Detroit and Denver are the same place because they both start with a D. Detroit and Denver residents have already reluctantly accepted this.
