Can I dump a sauce, maybe onions and put in the oven? Low and slow? What temp and time frame? Google isn't coming up with a comparable recipe. Something fool proof please. Time sensitive. TIA and gut moed!

Shoulder roast isn’t the sauce and leave type- put kosher salt all over and do 500 for half hour uncovered and then 325 for 25 minutes per pound. It’s delicious

Thanks! Do I rotate it during the seating part? When I put it on 325, do I then cover it? And at that point, I can use a sauce?
