I find that people don’t care to get to know you. It’s not a community it’s just a million people living side by side. I say hi, people say hi back but that’s it. Anyone have any tips?

Yes, I agree with this so much.
I joined a link up group in my neighborhood and we have more real discussions than the usual chit chat. I feel like that helps us get to know each other in a less superficial way. See if there's a group near you, or else you can start one!
