I have a nice size family k"h. My youngest 2 are almost 5 and 6.5 yrs and I realize how stuck they are being the baby of the family. With the older ones I'm always looking out for their milestones. They helped a lot at a young age because I needed extra help. I'm trying to help my kids see milestone.they could reach with home goals but I'm stuck. The older one has some delays and the mm younger one is average/smart so they are lumped together. I would love to give then some jobs around the house/responsibilities that they could see their growth. Also looking for any other ideas they could see their growth.

So far the kids can get dressed themselves
Line up their cloths with help from me
Brush their own teeth. I check or help when necessary.
Can pour cereal and milk if the bottle is less than half.
Make a simple sandwich
Older one I help with shower-wash head and back. Younger one I bathe.
Put on pajamas
Put laundry in hamper
I help make bed in the morning-they physical need my help with the blankets.
Learning to ride a bike was a major accomplishment for the younger one.
They both learned a number of games-educationaly both can play similar games.

I also need weekend jobs for them I have a very busy household and I don't want them getting in the way I end up giving them turns to walk around make sure the lights are set right
My other kids at this age used to help more
with laundry they still do.
Peel vegetables even if the peels were messy these kids are always hurting themselves on the peeler and I have enough help with peeling. What else could I do?

In so many ways the⅕y are looking forward to the day that they will be able to do what the teenagers and preteen siblings do.

What are age appropriate step levels and goals we could work on.
