Doesn’t Milwaukee have beautiful homes and a lovely community? Not as large as Detroit or Chicago- but nicer homes, I think.

Milwaukee doesn't have kosher restaurants, and the kosher grocery, if it still exists, is very small and has limited stock. But it's a lovely warm crowd, lots of achdus. Less materialistic.

Cincinnati is very small. Cleveland is huge.

LA housing is very expensive. One of the most expensive areas you can choose.

Cleveland is not an oot, tiny community anymore. In one area alone (there are primarily 3 neighborhoods) , there are 13 shuls! And I'd definitely add it to your list . It's really a beautiful, special place to live. And no tickets, no meters, no honking, pretty green grass...

Define reasonable price. The homes, for the most part, are small and dated. Anything that's updated amd/or larger is exponentially more expensive. Schools are decent but at capacity and might not have space for the grades you need. What kind of job would you be looking for?

Define "reasonable prices" - offhand Waterbury, Baltimore, Dallas, Detroit, and Cleveland all come to mind

Are there any communities that don't charge an arm and a leg for a 2000 sqf home with 4 bedrooms and a yard? Looking to pay 300k-500k rather than 500-700 for such a home. My understanding is that the more popular the location the more price goes up for the exact same type of home. So which locations would such a home go for 300-500?

Dallas is more expensive than Lakewood. My in laws live there and we’re offered $2 million for their 1600 sq feet house

The Houston community has grown to a nice amount over the years. I am not sure what prices are nowadays but used to be pretty decent and could get a nice sized home (I never lived there, but have family that does).
