1) Any tips how to avoid getting stomach ache and diarrhea (sorry about that), after breaking the fast?

2) how to avoid getting headache while fasting?

Break your fast slowly.

Eat something light, like soup first. Wait 20 minutes.

Eat some vegetables like cucumbers, pickles, radishes. Wait 20 minutes.

Eat light protein - egg whites, chicken breast, etc.

Wait an hour before eating anything else.

As for avoiding headaches - you need to hydrate BEFORE the fast.

Hope you feel good.

I stopped fasting when I got that sick. Simple carbs are best - white rice. A lot to drink. Broth.

If you have a sensitive stomach, pickles and radishes are a very bad choice as are most vegetables. Egg white or boiled chicken might be okay but any other carbs can make you sick. Try simple carbs like chocolate moose said. White rice. Plain boiled potato. Eat small amounts very slowly.

For next fast - I can't tolerate.raw vegetables on an empty stomach, maybe.you have the same.problem. Try a soup and simple.carbs. Also, make sure you go into the fast properly hydrated.

Do you usually drink a lot of coffee?
If so this could be causing you headaches on a fast.
Stop drinking coffee gradually a couple of days before the fast.

It takes me a good week to get it out of my system.

Your username is quite apropo Wink
Because it's really all about the salts - I don't like to drink powerade much because of all the sugar, but soup should also be helpful in rehydrating, along with fluids.
I drink a hot tea because that goes slower. If I down the fluids cold and fast my body doesn't respond well.

I find the trick to fasting well and breaking it well is in the preparation for the fast. Hydration, days before the fast, even Powerade before as well as after, makes a huge difference.
Reducing caffeine days before the fast can prevent headaches during the fast.
Spend the day inside with a/c. Don't run around outside in the heat and expect to feel good.
Wishing everyone meaningful fast days
