What skills do you need? What interests or dislikes would make the job difficult?

Does he like to solve puzzles? Is he detail oriented? Can he stay on the same task for hours until completing it satisfactorily while watching results improve each time?
Does he not particularly need lots of social interaction? Team meetings and coffee breaks may be enough?
